Studio Policies

At Just Dance Studio, we strive to create a positive and organized environment for all dancers and families. Please review the following information regarding our dance season, tuition, and studio expectations.

  • Our dance season begins in early September and runs through the second week of June, concluding with our annual recital.

Throughout the season, students will work on developing technique, learning choreography, and preparing for the end-of-year performance.

  • Regular attendance is important for every dancer.

Consistent attendance helps students feel comfortable with the material being taught and allows them to progress with their class. Excessive absences can make it difficult for students to keep up with choreography and can also affect the overall group performance.

Attendance also helps instructors properly plan class curriculum and recital routines.

  • Just Dance Studio generally follows the same holiday and break schedule as Gaylord Community Schools.

If Gaylord Community Schools close due to weather, the studio will usually close as well. However, if there are multiple closures during the same week, the studio may remain open.

Families will receive an email notification by noon on school closing days confirming whether the studio will remain open.

  • Each class will require a costume for the annual recital.

Costume pricing typically ranges between $60–$80 per costume.

    Important deadlines:

    • $60 costume deposit due by December 1

    • Costume information and invoices will be sent home in early November

    • Remaining balance due by January 30

Once a costume has been ordered, there are no refunds or cancellations.

  • Tuition is due by the first class of each month.

    • A $10 late fee will be added if tuition is received after the 10th of the month

    • Returned checks will be charged $35

Monthly tuition remains the same regardless of whether a month has 3, 4, or 5 classes.

Tuition is not adjusted due to absences or studio closures for holidays or weather.

Missed classes should be made up in a similar class as soon as possible. Make-ups must occur before February 1, as classes begin focusing exclusively on recital routines after that date.

At this time we accept cash or check only.

Please note that registration fees and tuition are non-refundable.
